“Eric painted my floor in December 2012. I was very excited about what was created in my living room. I wanted checkerboard painted wood floor. I want a cottage/eclectic vibe in my house and I was turned down by two painters and two wood floor companies. No one wanted to do this job.... until I emailed Eric.
I will post a pic of how he is painstakingly taping the squares off over the carefully drawn lines and another when we are all done. I loved it all, but it shows wear and shoe marks wayyy more than I expected. Maybe I needed more coats of poly... I dunno... but any problem is mine... he did what I asked and I never called him back to take a look at anything I wasn’t thrilled with... so ... he rocks... I kind of suck as a consumer.”

“Eric is amazing!!! I’ve researched through Yelp and several other sites for someone who specialized in faux painting for my dining area. I received quite a few different opinions and quotes. However, what set Eric apart from all the others was his artistic vision on how to blend it with my kitchen, so it didn’t just stop at the borders. He also gave great advice on how to blend the other walls of the dining room together as well.
I absolutely love the final look!!! Since my walls are heavily textured, the faux finish really added depth and color to my whole dining and kitchen areas and created quite a different look.

“Eric is truly an artist. This was the first time I hired a painter where it didn’t involve the honey-do list... slapping on a can of paint. I wanted something very specific and artistic and that is exactly what I got.
Eric was prompt in responding to all my questions and in meeting me for the free quote. So far 2 for 2. He was amiable and professional. I felt I could not only trust him in my home, but that he’d also be careful about not letting the dogs out! He showed me his samples, etc. and I was fairly certain I was in good hands. But it wasn’t until he unveiled the final result that I was totally blown away.
So, I had always envisioned this one wall in my home office with a “Napoleonic Bee” repeat. I have a thing for bees... don’t ask. All I can say is, WOW.

“I hired Eric’s faux finishing to do some restoration work on my 1920’s Craftsman style home. He did an excellent job of matching the paint color on the walls and ceilings, he did some wonderful lime wash and milk painting and he also put in some beautiful period stencil borders in several rooms. He has a great sense of color and he knows what goes and what doesn’t! He took a lot of the guess work out of it for us as far as the history of Arts and Crafts is concerned. All in all we are very happy with the work.”
