Design Professionals
The trained eye and refined tastes of a Design Professional can save a thousand hours! We recommend that all prospective residential and commercial clients engage the services of a decorative specialist, whether an architect, decorator, designer, etc. The Design Professional serves as a liaison between the Client and the Artisan, establishing the over-all artistic vision as well as a realistic time-table and managing customer expectations. We, the artisans at Coda Del Pavone, provide the Design Professional with a wealth of understanding of period styles, color/texture, craft and techniques, a familiar design short-hand if you will, and provide the subtle nuances and surprising alternatives to the decorative direction.
Whether creating an original, custom finish, or "reverse engineering" an existing finish, it is fair to say that at least 50% of the work we do occurs in the studio before we even start the job. Each finish formula or recipe is unique and requires particular levels of expertise. Suffice it to say, there are no "simple" jobs!
The team at Coda del Pavone are all certified applicators and skilled installers of many popular architectural coatings, including:
Farrow & Ball®, Benjamin Moore Century, Ellen Kennon, Modern Masters® metallics, Modern Masters Wildfire®, Faux Effects®, American Clay®, Granicrete/Aurastone®, Fine Paints of Europe®, Kalklitir, Sydney Harbour, Porter's Paints, Bauwerk Paints, Annie Sloan, Real Milk Paint Co., Old Fashioned Milk Paint, Homestead House, Miss Mustardseed, Texston, Stucco Italiano, Marmarino Depot Fresco, Portola, Texturline/E-Crete, Vella Venetian/Victory Stone, Meoded, Vasari, Metropolis Ivas, Domingue Architectural Finishes, Romabio, Pure & Original, Keim Romanit, Atova Viero, Firenzecolor, Francesca’s Paint's, Vero/Rialto Harpo, Rivedil, Tierrafino, Firmolux, Pietra Viva, Cadoro, Rives Decorative Paints, Mardero LLC, Satori Walls, Sculpt Nouveau, ProFaux, Polyvine, Brutal Rust...and many more!
We price our work "by the job" according to an assessment of finish complexity, volume and cost of materials, ease or difficulty of access, environmental conditions, and total square (or linear) footage.
We are based in Long Beach, California. Because Coda Del Pavone Decorative Finishes is so specialized, we cast a wide geographic net. Providing that the job is large enough, we can include the entire Southern California area, from Santa Barbara County in the north, to San Diego County to the south, and Riverside in the east. For average to smaller jobs, we normally encompass Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We are open to taking work in other states, or even abroad.
Please feel free to contact us regarding your project and begin the creative process!
